If You Care Product Giveaway

So that brownie recipe I posted a few days ago. The one with the white chocolate chips and brown butter? The brownie that was so ingeniously wrapped in parchment and tied with twine?

IMG_7362

Yeah, that one. Well, did you notice that the parchment was a wonderful shade of brown instead of the blinding white you might typically find at the grocery store? Well, there’s a reason for the more natural look.

A company named If You Care created that parchment out of certified unbleached paper using a naturally derived Silicone that contains no chlorine whatsoever (meaning no chlorine goes back into our environment when you throw it away!). Here are facts listed on their website about the parchment paper:

  • FSC Certified unbleached greaseproof paper
  • Totally chlorine-free (TCF)
  • Minimum waste
  • Unbleached recycled cardboard packaging
  • Vegetable-based inks for printing
  • Non-toxic glues
  • Cardboard packaging should be recycled
  • Excellent for baking and cooking
  • No greasing necessary
  • Oven safe up to 428°F/220°C
  • Microwave-safe
  • Suitable for vegetarians and vegans
  • Gluten free
  • Allergen free
  • Star-K kosher and Kosher for Passover

Their brand mission statement is the following:

If You Care kitchen and household products are carefully and deliberately crafted to have the least environmental impact and the lightest carbon footprint possible, while at the same time, delivering to the consumer, the highest quality and most effective results.

As you can see, it definitely fits with the Every Little Thing mission as well! These products are actually available at Dierberg’s, which is where I buy them. And good news for you, they’ve offered a chance to win four of their products!

If You Care will send the winner of this giveaway the above four products, plus a t-shirt!

To enter, go to their website and tell me, if you had all the products available to you, which one you would try first.

For extra entries, leave separate comments telling me each of the following:

This If You Care giveaway is open until Tuesday, May 8, 2012, 11:59 CST. The giveaway is open only to U.S. residents. Be sure a working email address is included with your comment(s). The winner will be chosen randomly via random.org and announced on this post. I will email the winner and if I don’t hear from the winner in 48 hours, I will choose a new one via random.org. The above products will be sent to the winner directly from If You Care.

Good luck!
